Healthy advice. I'm fortunate enough to not have writers bock in terms of ideas. I have a whole folder of ideas, sometimes none of them motivate me though. 😓
Some days the mind really does feel like a haunted house. Quiet rooms, old echoes, dusty thoughts, and that blinking cursor just sitting there judging your whole existence.
But you are so right. The ideas are not gone. They are just hidden deeper sometimes. They are waiting for us to stop forcing the door open and just walk gently through the inner halls.
Writing does not always come as lightning. Sometimes it comes as one messy sentence. One honest thought. One strange little feeling that refuses to leave us alone.
And that is enough.
I believe the soul is always speaking, even when the brain feels empty. Sometimes we just have to move, breathe, laugh at ourselves a little, and lower the pressure enough for the words to come back home.
This was such a beautiful reminder that being between ideas does not mean we are no longer writers. It just means something is still forming in the dark.
Bahahaha!! 😂 I immediately pictured a kid sneaking out their bedroom window 🥷🏽
The beauty of advice is that it really does work for some people. Others are nodding along while testing whether the window is unlocked 🤣. Take what works for you and leave what doesn’t 🫶💖✨
I love the idea of asking better questions instead of demanding better answers. Curiosity has always been kinder to creativity than pressure.
Aww yes 🙌 So so so true 🫶💖✨

That’s such a different kind of block, isn’t it? Ideas aren’t the problem. It’s finding the one your brain wants to fall in love with today 🤦♀️
I think every writer has a graveyard of “great ideas” waiting for the right version of us to bring them to life 🫶💖✨
I love this so much, my friend.

And when it finally whispers, we answer.

Nice try. Reminds me of a parent trying to provide options to his unruly teenager who has other ideas
