How true, how true about being emotional attached to the characters... 😭 I felt such an absence when I completed THE SEA CAPTAIN. The Protagonists sailed into their new journey knowing the obstacles they'll face, but knew they were facing together.
also, the guides other master authors offer on how to prepare oneself when writing a story... in truth, I say ... to each's own ... I tried those methods, & yet, impossible to keep ... the same way I feel about New Year's Resolution... Everyone SWEARS to do better by promising a few good intended phrases, but breaks their promises before January ends.
That is why I prefer a better choice of words & phrasing ...
